In accordance with the Licensing Act 1964, it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating drinks. By placing an order you are confirming that you are aged 18 or over. We reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this. You will be contacted if this is the case.
If your order is for another party and it contains alcohol then the recipient must be over 18 years of age. This is deemed to be the responsibility of the person placing the order to ensure this.
We aim to ensure the prices shown on our website are correct. If a mistaken price is shown we will make every effort to contact you to confirm if you would like to carry on with the order at the new correct price.
We make every effort to supply all items listed on this website. However, due to the ever changing nature of beer industry, there are times where this may not be possible. In these cases we will contact you and offer a substitute with the same or greater value or offer a refund for the item out of stock.
We want all our customers to be happy with the beers they are drinking. If a beer is damaged or if your delivery is not the same as your order (wrong product or if a product is missing) contact us immediately at brewery@twistedbarrelale.co.uk.
Due to the ever-changing nature of the beer industry we reserve the right to withdraw and replace products without notice.
We take every measure to make sure all of the information on our website is correct, however, we will not be held responsible for any information that is incorrect.
Payment
Payment can only be made using credit/debit cards and processed by Stripe or PayPal depending on the checkout option you selected.
Card payments are made through a secure server. Twisted Barrel Ale Limited does not store our customer's financial details. Your details will never be sold on or passed to any other parties. No staff at Twisted Barrel Ale Limited have access to, or can see your details at any point of the transaction if made via the website.
UK Delivery
Delivery dates for specific areas are planned in advance, and listed on product pages.
Orders must be received by 9am on the day before delivery.
We charge a fixed shipping rate for home deliveries of £2.50 per order. The charge is waived for orders over £25.
We run an honour system for buyers to choose the correct delivery rate for the value of their order, and reserve the rate to amend or cancel an order if the selection is inacurate.
We aim to get your order to you as fast as we can. Deliveries will be made as per the schedule published on our social media profiles, and to addresses within specific post codes.
Deliveries will be made to the shipping address provided, or to the safe space detailed on checkout. Deliveries to safe spaces are entirely at the purchasers risk. Twisted Barrel Ale Limited will not take any responsibility for items left correctly in the advised safe space.
We ask that you contact us immediately if you encounter any issues regarding your delivery and we will do our best to rectify any problems as quickly as possible.
You can have your beer delivered to another address if you wish. Just use that address as the delivery address.
Please take care lifting cases of beer and be careful as occasionally breakages do occur. If you can tell a bottle has broken, open with caution and beware of broken glass.
Damaged or missing goods will be refunded or replaced.
If you have selected the ‘leave with a neighbour’ or ‘leave in a safe place’ delivery instructions, this is completely at the customer’s own risk and Twisted Barrel Ale Limited cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs as a result of this.
Twisted Barrel Ale Limited will not be held responsible for delay or non-delivery due to causes that are outside the control of the parties, such as natural disasters, that could not be evaded through the exercise of due care.
Twisted Barrel Ale Limited is not liable for any loss or liability arising from the circumstances of force majeure.
In line with coronavirus advice, our drives will place the order on the doorstep & ring the bell while standing well back. Once the door has been opened and the order collected, they will return to the vehicle.
Twisted Barrel Ale Limited STRONGLY ADVISES that you wash your hands before and after any contact with our drivers, boxes or goods.
